Mountain Climbing

Mountain Climbing

Whether you want to attempt the shorter (4 nights) climb of Mount Meru, or the more demanding challenge of the Machame (6 nights) or Lemosho (8 nights) routes up Kilimanjaro, they will make it a rewarding and safe adventure. The longer you take to ascend, the greater the chance of reaching the summit at Uhuru Peak (3895m). We advise against the shortest way up, the Marangu route (also known as the "Coca cola" route), as it is so busy and sadly there is a lot of litter along the way.

Additionally, we arrange climbs of Mount Kenya, up the Sirimon track to Point Lenana, in various degrees of comfort, but always with an experienced guide. You might even opt to Mountain bike back down again!

As well as all the administration and support during the climb itself, we will organise a comfortable hotel for you to stay the night before your climb (to start acclimatisation to the altitude) and where you can relax and celebrate your achievements afterwards.
